Friendly staff, lovely location, nice rooms, good restaurant on site. Probably the only gripe is that due to wooden floor boards throughout there is very little noise insulation from other guests, therefore we suffered from the herd of elephants upstairs on both nights of our stay. So the lesson is possibly ask for a second floor room not first floor. You may also want your own snacks available as the kitchen doesn't open until 9pm which makes it tricky with young children.

Small rural hotel in the heart of the mountain. Everything was perfect, from the room that is very comfortable and clean, delicious breakfast to the terrace that has impressive mountain views.
The hosts make you feel at home, very friendly and attentive to every detail.

Among the majestic mountains of the Picos de Europa, a hotel run by a couple who takes 100% care to ensure that everything is well. Large and clean rooms. Good breakfast and magnificent menu for dinner, with extraordinary products and homemade dishes. 100% recommendable.
When you start driving on narrow roads for minutes, you begin to realize how peaceful you will be at the top. Beautiful place, with stunning views. Clean, large and very beautiful rooms, with a pleasant temperature and beautiful closed wooden balconies. Very attentive and friendly service. Very complete breakfasts, included in the price of the rooms. Without a doubt, the best thing is to open the balcony window in summer and listen to the peace and tranquility of the environment, with the cowbell of some distant cow, but not a single vehicle. The only drawback is that access to the hotel can be somewhat complicated if you have a bulky or somewhat low vehicle.
We have been very comfortable, it has been a short stay. The house is very good, it has a very cozy living room, a porch with very nice mountain views, everything is very clean and well-kept. The owners are very attentive and friendly.
As for meals, the breakfasts are good, there are toasts, pastries, fruit, cold cuts,... One night we had a cachopo for dinner there, we also tried the assortment of croquettes. The cheesecake for dinner was delicious, we liked everything.
We got a room with a side view of the roof, the downside is that it was right at the top of the stairs and you could hear the footsteps of people, apart from that the views are not as spectacular as a frontal one. With sleeping plugs solved. Otherwise the room has everything you need, you sleep well.
Access to Bobia de Arriba is via the typical mountain road, narrow with many curves and steep slopes.
